too expensive

love the Thomastik Infeld strings but $6 a string? I buy them separately because they are $25 a set and then they get you for shipping as well, another $8.
The flat wound acoustic string allows me to play outside, 5 nites a week and avoid sore fingers from round wound strings.
Wish I could cut my expense but nothing compares to this brand and believe me, I have tried many other sets with no joy.
