Steinberger Double Ball Bass Guitar Strings

IMPORTANT: Unless otherwise indicated the sets listed in this section only fit original design Steinberger instruments and may not fit later designs. Double ball, or “Steinberger”, guitar strings have balls at both ends of the string and are designed to fit Steinberger guitars and licensed Steinberger copies. These electric guitars and similar electric bass guitars were developed in the 1980’s by Ned Steinberger. With a minimalist "headless" design and tuners placed on a tailpiece mounted to the front of the guitar, the Steinberger guitars and basses were designed for better overall balance and for weight reduction. They were made entirely of a graphite and carbon-fiber mix for lighter weight.

If you play a Steinberger bass, you'll need specially made strings with double ball ends.
