520 P Trebles on Cedar
October 19, 2013
The 520P trebles are fantastic. They produce a more robust, well-rounded, and focused sound (on a cedar top guitar) than any other treble strings I have tried (especially the B and G strings - the E and the bass strings are also very good, but the B and G strings really set the 520Ps apart). The wound strings are also easier on your left hand (you get accustomed to the slight buzzing) especially if you are playing on a larger 656 or 664 scale guitar or have smaller hands because you can actually "grip" the strings with your left hand fingers. These trebles last a very long time; I have had the same set on my instrument for nearly 2 years without much degradation. Give them a try; they are a little weird initially, but you might become a big fan. I have been using the 520Ps since 1993 when my father said "try these"; each set has produced the same consistent crisp sound.

Savarez 520P Classical Guitar Strings
March 7, 2011
I have used these strings for almost 40 yrs. on a Ventura Flamenco Guitar. They are so good that they have been around that long and yet, I have not found a better string as far as sound and ease of playability as of 2011. The wrapped 2nd and 3rd string bring a transition between the normally trebly sounding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and 4th, 5th, and 6th string. The 6th and 5th string bring the smoothest base sound to a classical guitar as these ears have ever heard. In addition, these strings last a long time. They are durable ! It doesn't get much better than this. I use the Flamenco for song writing. It was once used as voice accompaniment.

Wound B and G

These strings are great - my only complaint is that I get a buzzing or rattle from the G string that I don't usually get from a non-wound string, so I have to watch the volume when plucking. Maybe it's just my guitar...

These strings last forever- I have been using them for many years and they excel over any of the many other brands I have tried. Their sound is rich and full. I use them mainly on an old 1968 Yamaha Classical and people always ask why it sounds so good. The savy is in the Savarez! Try em out!

I have been using Savarez strings for a good many years and have found that a more reliable String in this category is hard to beat. I do appreciate this opportunity to rate and review this item and other items that you offer.

Thank you.
