I'm absolutely thrilled with the quality and feel of these strings. My 6-string bass has a 34" scale and the thick B=string is perfect for it. Good tension so it's not flapping in the breeze. Excellent balance between registers. This set gives me the sound and control I like. Highly recommend.

Acquisition was easy...no problems. Strings work fine, and sound fine.

130 low b
the low b string sucks. as i was putting it on my bass i noticed that the taper at the end was off by an inch. if it was off by the bridger that would be alright but since its by the tunning peg i am unable to instal it. its the whole 130 for 37 inches of the string. very dissapointed in that. but the other 5 strings whent on like they should and feel and sound amazing. just going to pick up a low b flat wound at my local shop. still recomend it. i use to do auditing for a distrubution company and there is no way to check every item that is being shipped out for damages or anyother thing that could accure in the shipping process.

The .130 B string is perfect! It's beefy for more BOOM! A .125 would make the set like all the other inferior wanna-be bass strings that can't hold their own against the superb quality and of RotoSound. Anything from classical to death metal all around great sound!!

Rotosound Jazz Flatwound
Ok-I keep coming back to this string. Under $40.00 for a six string set of flats? Plus its Rotosound. These jazz flats are the sound of the 50's and 60s hands down, and on a six string bass its like the 60s never ended! My only gripe is I'd like to see a .125 B string on this set someday-.130 seems rediculously beefy for a flat.

flatwound bass strings
These strings are great! Deep smooth tone quality, they don't grind your finger tips away and they are fret friendly. Also, Rotosound are the only strings I buy for my bass.
