These strings hold their pitch well, respond beautifully, and are easy on the fingers, but their tone begins to change more quickly than the lower strings. It's good that they are available singly. They're a great fit for my Ibanez 506.

I use this as my high C on a Carvin LB76 6-string bass. Does the job, but I do wish Elixir made a smaller gauge.
