NYXL Strings
September 3, 2021
My electric Jazzmaster was sent in to Sweetwater for set up. They sent it back with these strings on. I found that they stay in tune, sound great.

They are actually more musical
November 14, 2019
Basically over the past 34 years I make sure they are not too bright or too dull and thats it...these didn't require stretching and are more musical. I was a DR guy or burnished nickel but these are the best. I wish they were a normal price of around 6 bucks a set, but what can you do, this is company wouldn't charge twice the price if it didn't cost more to make I would guess...they don't have a reputation for inflated pricing so I don't why they are twice the price but best strings I've ever played.
Prosstay in tune, don't need stretching, tone is more musical if that makes sense...
Constwice the price of normal strings hell, 3x the price of my just strings sets!

These strings are really good. So good that I can't use other strings any more.
Try them .

Love these strings
November 23, 2014
I am a professional guitarist and I have played/tried just about every string out there... elixirs, thomastik, gibson, fender, daddarios, ghs, etc.. These are now my go to strings.. why?....#1 sound (very responsive since i like to use dynamics in my playing) 2) they stay in tune (love it)

How much do I like them,,, I never took time to rate strings on line I think that speaks volumes

Best I've tried lately
October 18, 2014
I've tried everything from Thomastik to EB. I play these on both my Suhr and my Gretsch. They have noticeably less tension than EB or Rotosound, or the regular D'Addarios. This, combined with the higher magnetic attraction they possess, makes for a slightly higher action. Soundwise, they are the best I've tried. The wound strings have much more "punch", for lack of a better word. This means that the attack sounds the same on wound and plain strings. For a fingerstyle jazzer who also plays blues, also fingerstyle, this is a huge plus. Very even attack and tone across all strings, and also markedly higher output.

They do perform better than most strings.
