Great Consistent Tone!
December 20, 2020
D'Addario XL Nickel (10-46) plus, NW018 Wound Electric guitar strings supply me with great, consistent tone performance after performance! Tuning is always very stable, which is so very important as many times our classic country band, Darlene And The Boys perform in a wide variety of indoor/outdoor settings! Plus, to have such great quality strings is vital in recording sessions. I feel completely confident when I string my '83 Fender Telecaster with these great sounding strings! Also, Juststrings.com are totally pro!Great, consistent tone Stable tuning in a wide variety of indoor/outdoor settings Reliability! None

Wound 3rd vs plain 3rd
April 15, 2011
I've been using a wound third ever since I've found out that an arch-top guitar will not tune properly with a plain third. There is an added bonus when using a wound third on any other electrics if one likes a fuller, richer sound and it is kinder to your finger tip too! I have four electrics and I use a wound third on all of them.

I use these on all of my electric guitars to replace the G plain that comes in most sets, it smooths out the sound of an electric ! A trick jazz players been doing for years try it you'll like it!
