D'Addario XL 12-60 Strings.
February 27, 2021
I've been using these sets for about 5 years now for all by 6 string guitars either tuned down to drop B to drop A with no issues at all. These sets last long and sound great every time. There is not a single music store by me that carry this set and Just Stings.com has them ever time with fast delivery. Oh and for the price you can't beat them!
ProsThey're D'Addario so the quality is always there and they sound and feel great set after set. They're always reliable and i rarely break strings so they're solid in my book.

Excellent Heavy Strings
October 29, 2014
I use these strings in standard tuning. I got the idea from reading how Malcolm Young of AC/DC used 12-58 gauge strings on his Gretsch for his tight growling rhythm work over the years. I love the feel of tight strings--lots of snap and bite and none of that floppy feel that you get with lighter strings when you hit them really hard. When tuned to standard, you can hit these strings with just about all you have and they won't go momentarily sharp, like most other strings do. It's almost like the feel of an acoustic on your electric, but still has enough slack to pull off decent bends.

Great Strings

Bought these to use on my Fender Black Top Baritone Telecaster. Excellent low growl on low strings, sparkle nicely on high strings. Best baritone strings I have found for this guitar. Intonated easily and stay in tune very well!

These are great strings for Drop B! At least on a baritone they are! They have the perfect balance between tension and heaviness.
