Great Strings (N734-1/2L) But needs Small Adjustment in Gauges
November 1, 2019
Thing that needs to be changed are these things: Change the .095s to .010s for the 1st and 5th strings, and the .018 to .020 silver wrap for the 4th. With this change in gauge size they would be the perfect set of 5 string banjo strings in my opinion. I actually purchase .010s and replace the 1st and 5th myself, I would do the same with the .018 4th if I could find the .020 in silver wound.
PLEASE SEND THESE SUGGESTION TO THE NEW BLACK DIAMOND COMPANY maybe they could build a set with these gauges .010-.011-.0125-.020(silver wound)-.010 perfect bluegrass set my opinion.

Pros
- Nice crisp sound
Cons
- .095 breaks easy
- .018 not as deep tone as .020

Best banjo strings I've played, and I've played just about all of them. these strings last longer and consistently maintain their bright sound longer than any other.
