Thomastik-Infeld continues its history of innovation with its Vision line of violin strings. Using an advanced synthetic core, these strings have both quick bow response and short tonal play-in time. This type of string core also gives these strings more ease in playing and fast tuning stability, in addition to extending the playing life of the string. Thomastik-Infeld says you will be impressed with Vision strings’ “focused, clear, open and brilliant tone; a perfect fit for today’s modern sound”. They are excellent for instruments with inherently darker timbre. Vision violin strings are available in four types in both sets and singles – Vision, Vision Solo, Vision Titanium Solo, Vision Titanium Orchestra. The titanium Vision strings have a highly polished surface for effortless left hand technique. The solo strings offer amazing focus on the upper strings and clarity that is perfect for soloists. The orchestra strings were designed to replace gut strings and can be mixed with almost any synthetic core string or gut strings. The Titanal ball ends are removable.
