Thomastik-Infeld Power Brights 10-50

I never realized there was such a professionalyl made and designed string. Extraordinary on all fronts. balance, tone, feel, workmanship, design. The winds are so smooth and tight you'd swear they were flat wound, zero fret wear. While designed to be bright, one should not get the idea they are shrill or overt high ended, they are very warm and full range. I never knew a set of strings could be so altering to a guitar. The brass plating is just too cool and they last as long as my EXPs.

I agree with Whit, these premium strings are the bomb. They are more expensive than most strings, but the extra money is well worth it. I've been using this .010-.050 set for over ten years on my main gigging guitars. I've also used the lighter .009 set once or twice and I keep a Strat tuned to Eb strung with the .011 set. Changing to these strings just one time will convince you of the quality. In my experience these strings sound better and last longer than anything else I've played. I have 14 guitars and the ones that I do not gig with have Ernie Ball and D'Adarrio sets and those are good strings too, but the Thomastik Magnecore sets have a notably stronger and more powerful response.

Absolutely fantastic on two different guitars, night and day. Ash Am. Std. Strat and an SG Standard. These are now the go-to string in my gear. All others are now a second. Fills in the empty spaces of the sound with a sonic spatiality of tone that can only be heard to be appreciated. Dense and airy at the same time, thick and succulent as the notes come out of the amp. Can't ask for more. Want power in your bottom end? Put on a set of 10-50's and watch the world melt - yeah, they are that hot.
