The strings are balanced well. Fingers glide over them easily without a lot of squeaking. Tone is excellent.

Infeld Strings

I had been using Elixir electric strings on my guitar but love these Infeld strings and will likely change over on all my electric guitars. They are fairly reasonable pricewise and the performance is great. The only exception that I might take to this is that I purchased a set of Thomastik's jazz strings which I'm going to try. What I'm looking for in electric strings is a flat wound feel with a round wound sound. Best strings I have played so far were a set of .13-.56 flat wound strings (can't remember brand) but they were too heavy for me to get any effect out of my electric. But I am looking for that feel and Infeld comes close.

I can say that the previously bought Jazz swing flatwounds are the best flats out there. 5 stars fo' sho'. That other D'Add......brand sounds like fence wire in comparison.
