These are terrific Nylon strings. The wound third is the way to go; no fat flabby silly dead sounding G string anymore!!!! I have these on all my Nylon guitars now and that is how it will be. More expensive? Not really, considering I've used other brands and trashed them within half an hour. Highly recommended. Sound great through an acoustic amp which is realistic if you are a performer because 99% of your work will be this way any how.

Now I found it

After so many years I found what I wanted. I use to play in a band of Fado of Coimbra and to track
the typical "Portuguese Guitar" my classic guitar must be tuned a tone lower. With these strings to
maintaining high sound quality. Thank you.

I am using these strings on my Gibson ChetAtkins model CE classic with Piezo pickup. They sound very bright with a jazz quality at the same time...I'm happy that they are flatwound and not dead as many flatwounds are... Thanks again, Roger

Honestly, I was not happy with the sound with no amplification, but the sound is good with amplification.
