Stellar clarity, pitch and tone.

Lows are low and resonant and clean, mids and highs are penetrating and clear. None.

Well made Strings

The BB114 strings consistently have great tone and a long life to them. They are a bit pricey, but I feel I get my money's worth out of each set. I know using a 14 as a high e strings and 18 as a b sounds like it would be too thick to handle comfortably, but I really like the pick response to these strings. They're easy to play.
I play a Buscarino Artisan, and they match the instrument perfectly. I've found the right string for jazz.

those strings are good, except for the G strings, 022, which become rusty more quickly than the others.

I recommend Thomastik Infeld add an extra "g" each set.

At a high price, we would like to have high quality.

Wonderful sounding strings. I play rhythm guitar in a Big Band and these really do the job. My Only complaint is that the G-string (.022) wares-out quite fast i.e. windings come loose. I solve this by getting an extra G with each order. It would be really cool if Thomastik-Infeld would include an extra G with each set perhaps at 1/2 the single string price added on to the set versus having to pay full price for the weak string of the set. I will however, continue to use these strings because NO OTHER strings sound this good!!!

These are high quality strings, with a wonderfully softened edge, altering the harshness usually found in round wound strings.
