Best strings, easy touch, last longer.
Pricey,but I'm glad they can keep the same quality during the years.
bb113 fits perfect my es 175.
bb112 fits my 25.5 scale archtop, but I recommend to add a extra G wound string.
I like the 012 tension, but don't the unwound G.

These are the best strings I've found for the archtops I'm building. Even tension is very important and these are as close as I've seen.

By far the best Jazz strings I have found for my Byrdland and ES 175.

If you want classic Jazz tone with a hint of modern edge, this is the real deal!!

0.13 and 0.11 seems not to be balanced for me.

Best gauge is 0.14, wich is the same feeling for d'addario 0.12.

of course 0.12 thomastik works fine too.

American strings are harder then european.

Best Jazz guitar string on the Market

The TI Bebop series is the best string that I have found on the market for archtop guitars. They have a warm rich sound across all 6 strings. The strings also have a bell like clarity without being harsh. The way they gauge their sets is optimal for balance between each string. No string is louder than the next. If you are a jazzer and want to improve the sound of your archtop guitar, then try a set out. You won't be sorry. They are well worth the extra cost.
