Would be great strings with a wound 3rd

I love the BB113 set, but needed something lighter. These would be the perfect strings for me IF they would include a wound G. As they are sold now, they are completely unusable. The G string is too loud through an amp even with the pole piece completely sunk into the pickup. I would need a whole new bridge as this string won't intonate on a bridge made for wound strings. And, the string has a harsh, metallic, clanging type of a sound on a perfectly well set up guitar.

Should Include a Wound G

I'd been using the George Benson 12's for several years but they've gotten so expensive I thought I'd try the Jazz Bebop 12's. Should have read the fine print, as I expected a wound G. The unwound G won't intonate properly on my archtop and is noticeably louder than the other strings (pickup doesn't have adjustable pole pieces so there's not much I can do about it). Too bad because otherwise these are great strings.

bb112 fits my 25.5 scale archtop, but I recommend to add a extra G wound string.
I like the 012 tension, but don't the unwound G.

These strings are the greatest! I've used flatwounds (TI) on my archtops for years, but after trying these, I've switched. They really bring out the acoustic qualities of good archtops and are a joy to play!

Best Archtop Strings Made

Not only are these strings the best for tone quality, but they just feel great! They don't feel stiff like other brands. There is a relaxed feel to them which allows your fingers more expression. Yes, they may be a little bit more money, but in the long run will be a savings because of their lasting quality.

Been using these for years. Long lasting string, great gauges, lighter bottom than most and they last a long time with no break in period. These strings have less tension than other brands, so, 12's feel like 11's. Tried them 10 years ago and never looked back.
