Good Strings/Good Service

This set of strings is everything I hoped it would be. They're easy to play and responsive.
My order was fulfilled correctly and delivered quickly.

Don't buy if you are expecting a WOUND 3rd

I love the BB113 set, but needed something lighter. These would be the perfect strings for me IF they would include a wound G. As they are sold now, they are completely unusable. The G string is too loud through an amp even with the pole piece completely sunk into the pickup. I would need a whole new bridge as this string won't intonate on a bridge made for wound strings. And, the string has a harsh, metallic, clanging type of a sound on a perfectly well set up guitar.

These are the sexiest, juiciest, flatwounds around. Silky feel, gorgeous tone, last forever, stay in tune. Expensive, but like a great old scotch, worth it if you can afford it. I can't imagine ever using a different brand of flatwounds. A hedonistic experience.

Used to dread changing roundwounds because of the break in time required to get past the harsh sounding stage. No longer an issue since switching to these strings. Highly recommended.

These are fantastic strings, hands down. Let me qualify this by saying I use different brands on different guitars for different reasons, and I own and play 9 different guitars. The quality here is absolutely tops and you notice it as soon as you take these out of the packets - no kinking or holding a 'curved' or 'loop' shape - they unwind and straighten out. Excellent tone, balance, dynamic range. For my be bop playing on my archtops, this is the best brand I've ever played. So now I'm trying them out on my solid bodies (tele, paul, strat, GHS) with excellent results. Worth the price
