Greatest strings ever

These 12 string set are the most playable strings. Greatest to touch. The flat wound string gives a great sound as well. The low E round wound gives a great punch to the low. They are the most amazing stings I have ever played.

Plectrum strings are the BEST strings that I've ever used and/or placed on my two 12-string guitar/s.

I own two electric-acoustic 12-string guitars, of which both are Ibanez's!!! I've been extremely fortunate to find the Plectrum Extra Light 12-Strings brand.....As they bring out the mellow undertones that really give a 12-stringer it's angelic quality, while also allowing the upper lead strings to shine through even the most complex melodies......now everyone reading this should at least try 1 set of the Plectrum stings to decide for yourselves, whether these 12, or if you play a 6 string will "measure" up, to the standards of your playing!!!!.....I think you WILL be pleasantly surprised!!!!

All the pro's have been stated in the, "Your Review and Comments" area.... So far, over the 10 years that I have been playing with the Plectrum strings, I have NO QUALMS or cons with these strings.....Pick up a set, you won't be disappointed

Thomastik AC210 and AC211 12 String Sets

I've been using the Thomastik-Infeld AC series 12 string sets for quite some time, and while they're not as bright and crashy as some other brands, they are simply the best playing 12 string sets a guitarist is ever likely to find. The tension is remarkably low, and that is what makes the AC series the strings for me. So EASY to play! You don't dig deep into your fingers when pressing these strings, and that is vitally important whether playing for a prolonged period, or even for a short time. You pay considerably more for these, but they are well worth the additional expense. Highly recommended, and of the two sets reviewed, the AC-210 is my favorite for fast playing, while the AC-211 has a little more thump. Modern slim 12 string guitar necks offer little leverage for pressing high tension strings. You NEED the AC series strings if you want to avoid pain in your fretting hand. Give a set a try! You won't regret it.

The plain strings are made of brass coated steel, the wound strings have a silk inlay in combination with a highly flexible steel core.
