- Last a long time and stay in tune better than other brands. Also easier to intonate when all the strings are fresh and free of corrosion.
- Bad sets happen occasionally. They also have bad A and D strings sometimes. They have corrosion on them out of the pack.
- Cost per pack, Tonal consistency, Tuning stability, Feel, Life span!
- Not really a deal breaker but the strings have always been 2 to a sleeve in a 6 pack. I sometimes lose track of the string being used next. I imagine individually wrapped would add extra cost. So I really can’t complain.
These are great sounding, long lasting strings for a ridiculously low price. They work well on a variety of guitars, but they especially shine with Fender Telecasters. You won't believe the warm, steely chime these suckers will give you on a Tele. Much richer than a pure stainless string. I typically get about 3 to 4 more shows out of these than I do out of the Slinkys and rarely break them, even with heavy bending. Check them out.
You can't compare these strings with any other. They are extremely superior!
They are tite, They stay in tune and they last 3 times longer than any other string. I use a stainless steel pick. It kills other brands - SIT strings last longer!
