Great strings
January 1, 2020
This set of pedal steel strings has become my go to set. I've tried stainless steel sets that feel rough or slightly abrasive under a stainless steel bar. These feel very smooth to the touch and maintain their tone and tuning for many hours of playing which is important to those of us too cheap or lazy to change strings often. String breakage is quite rare even with the G# and B strings, so that's a real plus.

I have put 12 sets of these strings on a GFI Ultra Universal Steel. and now ordering 6 more sets. This is the only strings I have used on this guitar in the 20 months I have been playing it. For tone, durability and price I have found no string equal to the PS-ST12.

I ordered 3 Packages. These strings have a great full tone on my highs and a nice growl on the bottom end. I have a Wallace True Tone receiving their vibes. I will be ordering some more very soon. I hope they don't change the makeup on the alloys because these strings have really got a nice tone and sustain. Thanks for a great product.

SS Pedal Steel Strings .. 12 string

Great Strings. Only wish they would put a .012 as first string. One of my Knee levers raises the 1st string to G#, and .013 breaks. Takes a .012 to do the job. I have to purchase extra .012 strings to make a set.

I like and use these strings a lot,
They are fine except some times there are some strings missing.
I called Just Strings who directed me to SIT and they immediately sent the strings no questions asked with a few extras.
I am a repeat Just Strings customer.

S.I.T. Pedal Steel

"Our widely used and accepted 10- and 12-strings sets. Made with Power Wound stainless steel for that "heavenly pedal steel sound", and specially stress tested (PG) plain strings for less breakage."

The Company

"When the S.I.T. Strings Company was started in 1973, we wanted to be different from any other in the industry. Extensive marketing and large sales were never our primary goals. Due to the fact that we both had a love for the guitar and music, the company always reflected our enthusiasm for change. And change is what this company was based on, never being content with the standards of everyone else, but always striving for a higher level. By creating and inventing things that had never been thought of before, S.I.T. has always made strings that change things.

Quality control was also a major concern, and it was discovered long ago that only caring machine operators could be permitted to construct musical instrument strings. Each and every piece had to have the individual attention of the engineer, and our strings are still made this way today.

After S.I.T.'s humble start, it was not long before professional and amateur players alike were demanding the product on an international scale. Since that time, we have grown by leaps and bounds, and are always looking for ways to create new products and improve old ones.

S.I.T. is committed to, as well as thankful to, the musicians who made us what we are. We will always strive to stay the most progressive string company in the world.

Why not inspect our strings closely and prove this to yourself? Stop by for a free factory tour, and see them made while you wait.

The improvements and innovations have only just begun, and as we move into the next century there will always be room for improvement. We invite you to be a partner along that journey with us."
