The Argentine acoustic series of silver metal wound basses and plain steel trebles is comprised of four acoustic sets by Savarez. Light and extra light tension are both offered in loop end or ball end. According to Savarez, these sets are the only strings to create the authentic ‘Manouche’ jazz sound. A 1510 set players declares, “… these strings are tough and stay alive longer than any thing else I've used … (playing) with the Macaferri style guitar that I own - so the strings get a pounding.”
