Incredible
First introduced to Savarez was when I purchased my Ramirez R2 Concert Classical Guitar in 1992. Tried other, and keep coming back to these as the best... Stop Looking! You've Arrived!

Love the wound G
I've been using Savarez 520R and D'Addario EJ45's for a while now. Both sets had the same "plunky" G string sound that is quite common with nylon strings in general. I tried Savarez 520F's in an effort to solve this problem and, I'm happy to say, I've found the fix. Note that the tension on the wound G string is QUITE high (unfortunately, Savarez does not publish string tension details on their website). In my case, the bone nut on my Kremona Fiesta FC was not glued in place and the wound G tends to move the nut slightly in its slot, but a bit of glue will fix that problem when I change strings in a couple weeks. I find the trebles on this set to be slightly less bright than D'Addario's clear nylons, but that's no problem for the sound I'm looking for. Give these a try if you're fed up with the weird resonance of an unwound G string.

Savarez 520F
I'm using them on my new Taylor 714ce-N. Much better than the D'ddario's that Taylor uses. I like them because the hard tension keeps the strings from bending out of tune when playing chords and comping melodies on the upper neck. The wound 3rd string has more presence too. Beautiful sound for Bossa Novas & Pop ballads. A good choice for a steel string players moving to nylon strings!

I have been looking for a wound 3rd - G string. I am so very pleased. It was just what I was looking for.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You
