came on my Raimundo Tatyana Ryzhkova Black Limba
January 25, 2021
I ordered and had built a cedar top Ryzhkova Black Limba by Raimundo, ordered through GuitarsfromSpain.com. It came with the 500CRJ strings and the match was wonderful - tone, depth, volume, playability, response, everything. So ordered more sets for my other guitars - Torres HE Armin Hanika spruce top, Zimnicki spruce/maple and a Ramirez a/e. I was surprised how much they improved the personality of each of these guitars. Prior, I used different make strings on each, based on past experience and experimentation - Hannabachs, D'darrio, various French and Italian makes, all of which were wonderful, but these add a hard-to-describe character to the instruments. They are now my 'go to.'
Prostone, playability, personality.

Savarez Cristal Corum

These strings are very well matched with my everyday workhorse guitar, a Cordoba GK Studio Blanca. (Cordoba recommends these for their guitars.) Bright trebles, deep basses, and they settle in nicely after a couple of weeks. I have not tried them on my Burguet concert blanca, but I highly recommend them to anyone who owns and plays a Cordoba Flamenco guitar.

Classical Guitar Strings

Cordoba 45R comes with theses strings. Fantastic. No other non Savarez string comes close. The price is phenomenal. This string set as well as the long play red/white card are the only strings I use. Take an o.k. sound to new levels. SAVAREZ

Savarez Classical Cristal Corum guitar strings
July 7, 2011
My workhorse guitar (teaching and performing) is a Cordoba Solista (Cordoba's concert guitar). Cordoba specifies these strings for their guitars - for good reason. I've tried other strings, and it turned a great sounding concert guitar into a good sounding student guitar. Needless to say, I switched back to Savarez!

I really like these strings. My guitar teacher uses the D'Addario ProArte strings, because they're cheap and he likes them just as well, but I like the tension mismatch between the trebles and basses.
