These strings last!
I've been using the same set of six Rotosound RS886LDs on my heavily-modified upright guitarrón, which I have played nearly daily for a year and a half now, and I have no desire to replace them-even though I already have a new set of back ups. Same dark sound with good ring when I want it.

Love these strings
I used these on a 5 string frettless I had and ended up selling. Have recently switched to playing 6 string basses so I was glad to find that 6 string sets were available at Just Strings. I have used these on a fretted bass as well and like it myself. Gives slapping and popping a different sound though (plasticky) which I also liked but don't do a lot. Great service from Just strings. The strings came before my bass was ready. (Had a fretted bass de-fretted)

Closest to DB sound on my guitarrón.
These Rotosound 88s are the closest I've come to a DB sound on my heavily-modified upright guitarrón, especially amplified. Dark, thumpy sound, with decent ring when you want it. Very easy on the hands. I've only had these for a couple of months and I've already purchased a back-up set, even though they show no signs of wearing out.

The package lists only five strings on the outside, but they slip a 50 in there to make a complete set for a six-string.

RotoSound Tru Bass Black Nylon Flatwound
These are great strings! I finally have the sound and feel I want on my bass. They're easy on the fingers, have a nice mellow tone, and they also look cool. Great for fretless playing, and yes, it really does come in a 6-string set, even if the package doesn't say so.
If the strings prove too long for your bass (as most of them did on mine), just clip them shorter, as any bass player knows to do.
I will definitely be buying more of these; I just wish they came in lime green.

Tru bass strings
I love the sound. Great strings.

Upright sounding. Great for Jazz.

Wonderful C string.

C with balls!
The true bass set was always tempting for me, but I needed a 6 string set.
This 6 string set gives the c string balls actually, if you like that.
I highly recommend it, but don't take all!
