(RotoSound Strings are only available for shipment to addresses in the United States, U.S. Territories & Possessions, and APO/FPO destinations.)
British guitar and bass string manufacturer RotoSound was founded in the late 1950s by musician and engineer James How. More than 50 years later, it is still family-owned and operated, specializing in quality strings used by such notable musicians as John Entwistle, Paul McCartney and Stanley Clarke. The company makes strings for electric guitar, bass, acoustic guitar, orchestral and traditional stringed instruments. We carry the Superia style of RotoSound classical guitar strings, which are normal tension strings. They're available with either ball ends or tie-on plain ends. These are professional quality strings designed for high performance and a crisp, bright tone. The sets feature nylon trebles and silver wound basses. The clear nylon gives a clean, rich sound. Silver wound indicates silver-plated copper wire which is wound around the nylon core. This provides a bright tonal quality which is more brilliant in tone than gold wound strings.
