he buzzing I was experiencing with other strings do not exist with these. They produce that Beatles sound I want from my Ric 325!!!

Quality Control Issues

I bought two sets of these. The first set the G string had a strange rattle. It was replaced and works fine. The second set the A string will not intonate. Never had this problem before. Replaced that string and it is fine. So these strings are great sounding and I like the feel very much but I can not rely on a set being consistent.
ProsGood feel Nice tone

Love these strings. Made for my Rickenbacker. I play a lot and only change them twice a year. Just strings has always done me right

Very disappointed.

I had just purchased a used Gretsch 5122, which I was told had Pyramid flat wounds. It played and sounded fantastic. On the basis of that, I purchased 2 sets. I installed the first set on a Gibson ES135. Could not get the intonation on D string correct. I moved the saddle as far forward as possible, and still fretted flat. I removed them. Installed second set on Gretsch 5120. Wound G string sounded like a banjo. Replaced it with the G string from the first set!
Managed to get one very expensive set from two!

Great on Gretsch or Jazzmaster

I've been using these strings for a long time on vintage and new Gretsch and Jazzmaster guitars. I absolutely love the tone and feel and they do last a long time. Plugged into a Fender Blackface Deluxe Reverb or Vox AC-30, they sound amazing, but I also use them with high gain like Weezer and they sound great there too. I highly recommend these strings.

Not as twangy as Thomastik infeld flats, gold wrap on the ball ends but none at the top. Lasted about a year with heavy use.

Although these sound great, the high E string tends to break fresh out of the envelope. This last one just as I was tuning up past D. No way I'm paying $25 again until they start including an extra string or two like LaBella does.

These are sweet and worth the $$. Smooth and squeak-free on leads, nice balanced tones on rhythm, long lasting and easy to play.

Pyramid Strings

I have been using Pyramid strings for about 6 years now. They simply out perform all others that I have tried. They sound best when played LOUD and they bring out all the tone your guitar can produce. When I do a pure acoustic gig it is usally for 50-100 people. These strings can keep up with the power of my voice. They cand hear my guitar and voice all the way in the back row. They last twice as long as anything else. Pyramid is all I use anymore.

I use these on my Yamaha acoustic electric. Can't get enough of the tone & feel. Plus they last forever. Best strings you can buy, and one hell of a value.

PYRAMID Gold Electric Guitar Strings "ORIGINAL VINTAGE FLATWOUNDS"

PYRAMID flat wounds for guitar allow the user to produce exactly the much loved British, Surf, Pop, Rock and Country sounds of the late 50's & 60's and are great for all types of today's music as well. Superlative musical tone and timbre is not all you get with nickel flat sounds. You get great feeling strings, a lower action than is possible with round wound strings and you also get very low finger noise!

Excellent for all types of music, brilliant with the warmth of pure nickel, flat wound with "twang", lush upper harmonics, long sustain, extreme long life, great smooth feel perfectly balanced, extra musical, a joy to play.
