Pyramid Gold Guitar Strings

For over twenty years I've been using
La Bella Jazz Light (20PL) guitar strings.
during that time I've tried other strings
but always came back to La Bella. I've
finally found guitar strings that surpass
the 20PL's I've used for years. The
Pyramid Gold strings give me everything
I expect of quality strings and more.
I love the sustainablity, warm tone and
super ease of playing. I've been converted.

Serious Defect

The wound G started to go flat once I reached the 8th or 9th fret. I replaced it with a Thomastik Infeld round wound, which was fine throughout. Boy, you'd think that at the prices they charge, everything would be perfect. The rest of the strings were fine and sound great, but at that price there should be no defects.

These are truly high end strings, they reduce unwanted finger noise, they sound terrific, I use them on my Collings SoCo Deluxe, great for Jazz and Rock. My finger oil does not tarnish the strings, they stay in tune and have longevity. I also use strings by the same company on acoustic guitars and they great also. Yeah, they cost more, but what good sound products are not expensive. If you want to move your tone up you won't be disappointed with these string. I will buy more for my other guitars.

I have one of the best guitar techs in the business set these strings up to my 1972 black custom Les PAul. It choked real bad.Felt like playing an acoustic guitar. Tried to make several adjustments , but no succsess. Going back to what feels the best for me. Thomasticks Blues Sliders.

This is my first set of flat wounds, and now I prefer them to round wounds. They gauge is just perfect and I love the sound. They are definitely worth it and I will order more in the future.

Love the sound and ease of play with these superior strings. Using them on my current "Go To" guitar for everything from hard rock to jazz. Awesome sound. Will use on the rest of my collection as strings need replacing.
