These have brought some life back into the 56 Martin.
These have a nice bright, yet warm & balanced tone on the old CF Martin tiple. Not a lot of choices for tiple out there, unless I buy singles and make my own sets. I do enough of that craziness with the myriad alternate tuning variations I use on other instruments, like table steel, lap steel, pedal steel guitars, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, resonator guitars, etc. The pedal steel guitars sort out strings for quality very quickly. La Bella generally always satisfies me, regardless of what I am twisting them up on. I still have an English & a Spanish made rolling mill, for making windings, and I have processed gut strings & cores from sheep ranches in The Four Corner's States. Being in border states I see a lot of Latin, and European folk instruments, and La Bella has 90% of them covered with some form of quality string set, whether it's a Bajo Sexto, Charango, an Oud or a Cittern. I have customers that perform all over the world, on land or at sea. I have a good following of cruise ship musicians growing larger every time they come back to port. La Bella is always there for us. La Bella products have been around the shop, since it moved from Kansas to Colorado in 1951. I suspect La Bellas were probably D'Angelicos, or D'Merles back then, or vise versa. The only other ancient strings to survive from pre-1945 are Black Diamond............. cough!

La Bella Tiple Strings
Getting old and the fingers aren't so good on those uke-like scale lengths. These help. They're bright and when new hide some of my playing mistakes.
