2. D'Addario is made of nickle , and La Bella is steel, they'll last longer, feel better, vibrate nicer and have much better tone IMO. Maybe if you want to play guitar get nickle strings but for bass I'll stick with deep and mellow tone.
3. Omg the D'Addario are a joke, they are about as smooth as a lumberjacks chin .What's the point of buying flatwound if they're so rough? They are nothing like La bellas they do not slide easily. I feel bad for the fools who are such D'Addario fan boys that's all they've ever used. (Some of the Artists that promote them on the website claim such a thing.
4. Why waste the money buying flat-wounds at all if you don't mind how horrible the D'Addario flatwounds feel?
After trying them, there was no obvious difference in sound quality compared to D'Addario. Why buy expensive strings when there are cheaper options that have the same sound quality as expensive ones?
