These strings are great if you're a little kid doing Metallica covers or heavy metal. Very metallic sound . Took off regular Deep talkin, will put them back on and throw these away. $63. down.

Sound great, lots of thump, clear and bright without any harshness. Just strings order arrived on time as ordered, I'm happy overall . Only concern is on string package they tell you not to wrap string around tuning post as string will break, due to length got half wrap around post, on G string on my Yamaha bb 5 string. Hasn't broken yet.
Important note: La Bella flatwound strings are not suitable for use on instruments that require through-body stringing.

"ORIGINAL 1954" FENDER STYLE
Flat Wound "Jamerson Set"

The 0760 set was used by the legendary James Jamerson on virtually every Motown hit record in the Sixties. Donald "Duck" Dunn used the same strings on countless recordings with Otis Redding and Booker T. & the MG's. They are the fullest and deepest sounting bass strings ever.
