These strings have been a part of my sound for over 10 years! I recommend the slap masters series because they're expressive, dynamics can be easily articulated, they're easy on the fingertips, easily bendable, stay in tune, they can take a serious beating, and remain bright sounding for a long time.

This super-light set doesn't stay "https://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/juststringszing"-bright quite as long as some steel sets, but it settles quickly into a punchy, articulate, warm-bright sound for many months after they're put on.
And given that these gauges are not really a "standard" set, but a unique, super-light group that can fit a 35", it''s a miracle they're on the market- a fortunate thing.
An overall excellent string set. I'm using them on 3 of my 35" 6-string basses.
