Have used these strings for years and never had a problem
  • Long lasting and stay in tune after a considerable amount of tuning up and down
  • Not as loud as heavier strings

I’ve always played John Pearse light12 gauge strings. Due to issues with arthritis I went to the slightly light 11 gauge and I love them they sound fantastic. I have had them on my Martin D41 for weeks now and they still sound great

These guys make fun!

John Pearse strings came highly recommended by my friend and producer, Jack Saunders of White Cat Studios here in Houston, Texas. Little did I know just how top shelf Just Strings was going to turn out as the distributor. Never any problems and pretty good incentive/promotions as well. I have always bought my strings in bulk but these make it fun!
Thanks, Danny Everitt

JP #550SL

A friend of mine gave me a set of these to try. He told me the cost was low as compared to the great sound, so I skeptically tried them and have since changed from the brand I swore I would never leave. Only bummer is I found out about these after I had stocked up on my other brand.

I just want to tell you how blessed I am to have Just strings in my life. All the options I have with your site is amazing. I can mix, and match to the gauges I need, and the shipping is accurate, and fast. I will always do business with you, and the customer service is one of the reasons also Just a FYI. Livingston Taylor also uses the JP 550Sl 11-50. He orders , and sometimes goes in to BreezyRidge. He orders them in box bulk. I mentioned to him to order from you. I pray he does. He won't be disappointed..........

These are the best acoustic guitar strings I have ever purchased. They really maintain there brilliance even after 3 nights of gigs. The pricing and delivery efficiency your company provides is excellent. The selection and variety of string types is just fantastic.
Those are the reason I am and will be a return customer.

I play fingerstyle and have used several types of strings from various manufacturers, but these strings are truly amazing. I expected the lighter gauge to produce a smaller sound. Not so! These strings sound just as loud and distinctive as any string I've used. I'm just glad I have a dealer that can provide what I need. Keep up the good work.

Love these strings and the whole line of John Pearse strings. They have the clarity of a bell, with lots of shimmer and uncompromised dynamic resonance. I highly recommend these stings and use John Pearse exclusively on all my accoustic guitars.

By far, for my taste the best strings I have found. Not only tone wise but quality and consistency are superb. I have been amazed at the intonation and life of these strings. I am extremely picky and the second I put these on my Martin I knew I had found the "holy grail" of tone. I highly recommend them.

John PearseÒ Strings

"English studio musician John Pearse first began researching into music string manufacture in the mid-sixties. The first person, ever, to teach guitar on television - his BBC lessons have been seen in six countries while his PBS series, STRINGALONG, was shown in most US television markets whilst becoming perhaps the best selling video guitar course both nationally and internationally. He is the author of some forty books on such diverse subjects as instrument building and technique- to cooking and the traditional art of fly fishing! In 1965 John began his collaboration with British Music Strings, a London string maker, to develop a guitar string with both a longer life and a more accurate vibrating and nodal pattern. His designs were so successful that, over the years, both British Music Strings and Thomastik marketed strings under his name. John also designed string lines for Bourne Guitars and Jay Associates, makers of the Jester guitar line.

In 1978 he came to the United States to develop a unique line of accessories for the C.F.Martin Company. It was here that he again met dulcimist Mary Faith Rhoads. After eighteen months, he decided to leave Martin, and, with Mary Faith, started Breezy Ridge Instruments to produce the Breezy Ridge Hammer Dulcimer. His revolutionary design proved itself to be the best sounding Hammer Dulcimer ever made. Next came a line of music strings designed especially for the professional musician. Within months, word of these exciting strings had spread across the country and pressure from both the public and beleaguered dealers had persuaded John and Mary Faith to make their line available to stores and things have just kept growing since then!"
