Weissenborn strings
March 21, 2012
Down side is they are DANG expensive. Here are the up sides: best sounding Uke strings I've ever used on my 1920's Maybelle Banjo Uke. Very bright, crisp, and STAY IN TUNE! Warning: you have to wind up the excess string in a loop at the tuning peg because these strings can NOT be trimmed off! All four strings are wound and will unravel if you cut them. I find that new strings stretch out quickly and are really nice to play. I've had mine several months and they are still crisp sounding.
