Helicore 3/4 Size

D’Addario’s Helicore violin strings feature a multi-stranded steel core that provides more flexibility than a conventional solid core string. The Helicore strings are durable and unaffected by temperature and humidity, and the more flexible steel core allows for more tonal versatility while providing a rich, warm tone. The Helicore 3/4 scaled violin strings are a narrower diameter allowing easier bowing response for optimal playability. The Helicore 3/4 scaled violin strings have a playing length of 12 1/2 inches and are available in a medium tension to satisfy a majority of violinists’ preference. The medium tension is also versatile enough to complement a wide range of instruments and playing styles. The high quality metal windings—an aluminum wound A string, a titanium wound D string and tungsten/nickel wound G string—provide a well-balanced and projected sound. The E string is unwound, tin-plated high carbon steel. Manufactured in the United States, Helicore strings are held to D’Addario’s high manufacturing standards and are shipped in corrosion resistant packaging.
