Bright Bronze GHS acoustic guitar strings are made with special 80/20 copper/zinc alloy wire wound on a hexagonal steel core. Bright Bronze strings have a very bright tone and good flexibility. Their Contact Core Bright Bronze strings are the same as their regular Bright Bronze, but with an exposed section of core wire over the bridge. This gives these GHS guitar strings a brilliant tone.
GHS Phosphor Bronze acoustic guitar strings are made with a long lasting alloy wire consisting of copper, tin and phosphorus wound over a hexagonal steel core. These GHS acoustic strings produce a bright, rich, long lasting tone, somewhat less bright than Bright Bronze.
GHS Silk & Bronze acoustic guitar strings are made with a unique core made of silk and steel wound with phosphor bronze wire. They have a mellow, warm tone and a soft feel. The Silk & Steel acoustic guitar strings are made with silver plated copper wire wound on a silk and steel core. These GHS acoustic guitar strings have a brighter tone than their Silk & Bronze.
GHS Vintage Bronze acoustic guitar strings are made with a special 85/15 copper/zinc alloy wire wound on a hexagonal steel core. They produce a warm, rich and vibrant tone. GHS White Bronze acoustic guitar strings are special. They are wound with their special Alloy 52, which makes them magnetically active. These GHS guitar strings are well suited for acoustic/electric guitars. Alloy 52 also resists corrosion, which is helpful for players in humid climates, or those with acidic hands. GHS White Bronze strings have a very brilliant tone and extended life.
