Nearly perfect for me

These are just about perfect for me. The low end is tighter and clearer, and the bends on the higher strings are easier and cause me less joint pain. I was doing some fast play with aggressive bends and getting ring finger pain. Switching from 9's to these 8-1/2's solved that for me. The downside is the E and B string don't seem to ring out quite as loud or sustain quite as well. I may move to hybrid set with the E and B being the next size up but I really like these. And Boomers are my favorite strings of all the brands I've tried, at least on electrics. I like Elixers on my acoustics but for the electrics, GHS Boomers all the way.

Perfect for ME!

Played Ernie B forever and they are still good, but the GHS last and sound great longer than most all other strings IMO.

I've been using GHS strings for at least 35 years and they've never let me down. When I started playing I went through many different brands and settled with GHS. The tone and feel of these strings are what sold me. I have never had an issue with quality in 35 years of using the exclusively.

If you like nickel plated steel this is a dream come true. The playability of an 8 with the tone and feel and sustain of a 9. What more could you ask for? A truly wonderful string!

GHS Strings

I've been using these strings for several years now they keep their tune well and they last a good while. I'll keep on using them as long as I can get them.
