How much you like these strings will depend on how much you like regular nylon classical guitar/ukulele strings. I am not the hugest fan of regular nylon and I still like these. It is also hard to beat $5 for a rare ukulele tuning. For this tuning, you usually need to buy two different sets or four single strings. I did not expect to like the wound low G string, but I really liked it. It is not too thick and stiff but I also like it better than any unwound low G string that I have played. The only other re-entrant dGBE strings I've played are the Fremont set and the Worth (made by repurposing strings from the baritone set). I like this slightly better than those. Again - it is not a perfect set but you're paying $5 for a decent set in a tuning that usually requires you to mix and match, which means having to think more and spend more.

If you don't love nylon strings you won't love this.
