I have used Fast Fret for many years. I was happy to find you carried the product.

Works Well
December 20, 2020
I think this product works well and is fairly long lasting. Nicely packaged, so it is easy to transport in an instrument case or gig bag. Tried the other product you offer D’Addario XLR8 and did not like it at all. My go to is Finger Ease, but you guys don’t carry it. I wanted to try something more compact that is why I ordered the GHS. Will probably stick to my go to because it seems to last longer and is much slicker. I really like doing business with you and get my picks and strings from you exclusively. You are tops in the string department.
Compact design Easy transport Not as slick and protective as my Finger Ease

Works great in all regards except wondering about a more healthful product that is not petrochemical...

Makes my strings last longer
November 8, 2019
This is the only string cleaner I've ever used, so I can't compare it to any other similar products. All I can say is I've been using this string cleaner after every time I play my guitar and I've been able to play my guitar all summer without the slightest bit of corrosion. Typically my strings start corroding after about a week or so.
Does what it's supposed to and the container fits easily into my guitar case. None that I can think of.

It comes down to this: my strings last longer and feel more comfortable to play when I use Fast-Fret.

GHS Fast Fret

My then guitarist turned me on to this product in 1984. I'm still using it. Nuff sed?!
*My only gripe is with the container. If it were more compact (use less material) it would fit in smaller string instrument cases, too (mandolin cases, for example). I have modified mine accordingly, with the cloth permanently attached at the other end. A quick wipe with both ends after picking is all I usually need. After a hot/sweaty session, an initial wipe with a cloth and/or a shaving brush will remove the nasty.
Great product, yeah. Won't spill or break. Long lasting. Get some.

Works great. I have a flattop on stage nearly every night. Alot of pickers sit in and use it. Every one has acid, some more than others. Since I started using this stuff, strings last longer, and I can clean them quickly. Just have to remember to do it.

Fast Fret in the tropics
June 6, 2011
I'm a finger-style bass player on a tropical island in the Carribean.

Playing in our always warm and humid atmosphere made my fingers blister after each performance. Secondly, due to unavoidable transpiration, the strings became wooden to my fingers and hard to play.

These problems were all gone after using Fast Fret. It lubricates both my strings and my fingers, making it easy to play in warm moist conditions. It is smooth and I get no more blisters since using this.
I put it on my basses when setting up for a gig. Couldn't do without it here!

GHS Fast Fret - I love this stuff!

This product was recommended to me by a steel guitarist here in Hawaii "thanks Uncle Derrick!". Since I got it a few months ago, I've purchased another for my gig bags. It's excellent for all the steel stringed instruments I play (guitar, bango, steel string ukukele, bass, steel guitar...) My strings last A LOT longer when I use this product. WELL worth the money!

The only thing that really did not work for me was the GHS Fast Fret. Maybe it was just dried out or something, but it is just utterly useless. The instructions refer to wiping off excess, but there is nothing to wipe off as it is completely dry.

Keeps string feeling like new, longer!
October 14, 2009
I bought this as a test - figured that it's been around for so long, there's probably a reason. Am very impressed. Using it before I play (and whenever I think about it, after I play) and it gives the strings a smooth, glossy feel under your fingers but without feeling like there's something on the strings. Seems to remove finger oils that gather on the string as opposed to leaving a "coating" on string. I even use a little on the actual guitar neck itself when the humidity goes up to keep the neck feeling smooth in my hand. I will definitely purchase it again!
Not a spray! Contains no silicone. It's a liquid in an applicator. Use it on strings, fretboard, back of neck. Lets fingers slide freely, keeps strings clean, is good for wood.
