Electric guitar string that fit an acoustic guitar
June 18, 2022
Installed these strings on my Martin 000-28 guitar . And my guitars tone improved . The Just Strings guitar picks . Have also improved the guitars tone . And now my guitars tone is better . And I feel as if I have modernized my guitar . CMN
Bullet style end . Not the typical "ball end" . Which may led to backing plate wear .
The Nickel windings & nickel plating . Are a nice alternative . To the conventional Bronze windings . Found on all Acoustic Guitar Strings .
Bullet end strings are easy to install .
String gage (49/11) compares to a light / extra light string on Acoustic guitar charts
Some players may like the Nickel color . Over the Bronze color
Strings are not Acoustic Guitar Strings . And with this the "G" string is not wound . This could be positive or negative .
For me , Strings are not Bronze in color . And my guitar has SunBurst finish .
I still do not have "perfect tone" on my new Martin . Although tone is much better .

Bullet 3150M - Pure Nickel

Heavy enough to play Hendrix, SRV and all blues - even a little Wes Montgomery. Once tuned (I use Eb tuning) they stay there for weeks at a time even with heavy tremolo bar use. Be sure to use plenty of perfectly stacked wraps of the string on the machine head (starting at the top and working down). A little pencil graphite in the nut groove and be sure the high E string bridge is filled smooth. One a year I will break the high E and that is with a lot of bending. Hard to believe that little bullet works that well.
