Great strings for fingerstyle guitar

I play fingerstyle guitar and use finger picks. These strings dramatically cut down on pick noise and provide a rich, full tone. Have a Martin and Taylor guitars that I use these on.

I like these strings. They last much longer than strings with no coating, Just Strings offers them at a lower price and I think they have a perfectly good tone.

I have been using Elixir strings for over 20 years. I prefer the PolyWeb even though I believe most players like the NanoWeb better. Other makers have come up with their form of coated strings, but after trying many of them, I always come back to the best.

Great sound, long string life, low string noise when moving up and sown the finger board. What cons?

Length of life, tone and response is the name of the game when I'm hunting for strings and these puppies have all of the above. I tend to prefer the 80/20's to Phosphor Bronze for tonal purposes but both really work beautifully when going Elixer. I love the way these strings feel on my fingers as well. No resistance and silky smooth! These strings have everything I want in tone, feel and length of life. I use the 11's for standard E tuning and the 12's for any alternate tunings I use for modern fingerstyle gigs. Give em a shot. You won't regret it!

Great Strings!

I have tried different coated strings for my Seagull Acoustic guitar, and I always come back to the Elixir Polyweb Custom Lights. I just love the tone and crispness that they bring to my guitar. Not only the sound, but they last the longest and keep their tone the best. I also appreciate JustStrings, they have comparable prices and quick turn around. Great strings and great store. I'll be back!

Great strings

I've been using Elixirs for about 12 years, and I wouldn't use anything else. They are the only strings that seem to resist the very acidic nature of my perspiration. Others start tarnishing after just one session. And I really like the custom light set - just the right combination.

Love these strings with a caveat...the 3rd string begins to buzz prematurely, requiring replacement. This happens on both my National steel and Martin CEO-4. Never has occurred prior to the last two sets I've put on both.

I love Elixir strings! I finally replaced my previous Elixir set and the new ones are fantastic as I've become accustomed. I'm not practicing anywhere near enough, but they sure do work WELL on my Martin D37K. Thanks, don't change, and keep delivering good Elixir products!
