They die quickly...
June 2, 2011
These sound great for about a week or so, then all the tone dies! They're not unlike any other nickel string in this regard... I've resorted to removing them and boiling them when they die to bring back some life, since I can't afford to be replacing them with new ones every week! They do sound great on my maple fingerboard Musicman Stingray, though. Wish they lasted longer.

Great strings. Very punchy and lot's of definition. Great value. I purchase these strings from "Just Strings.com" because they have the best price. Even if I live in Montreal,Canada, and I have to pay for shipping and duty, I still get a better deal
from Juststrings.

Excellent strings!
July 29, 2010
I've been playing the bass now for a little over a year and a half, and I've tried all kinds of different gauges and brands of strings. These strings are among my top favorites. I like the punchy tone they produce and I like the smooth feel. Very good strings! Try them out, you won't regret it.

Awesome strings

Great tone and they last a good long time. Great strings and a good size for some thunder and punch.
