Dunlop phosphor bronze acoustic guitar strings are custom wound on a high carbon steel hex core. They offer players a warm, full-bodied tone with excellent clarity, balance and dynamics. Available in four different gauge ranges and a Zakk Wylde Icon set (see more below). Brass or 80/20 bronze strings have a bright tone with a traditional sound and a clear response. The high quality wire combined with exacting construction produce versatile strings durable enough to withstand hard strumming and responsive enough for delicate fingerpicking. Four gauges from extra light to medium are available. Dunlop’s formula creates strings that are exceptionally long-lived. Every set of Dunlop strings is made in the U.S.A. and come packaged utilizing three levels of moisture protection and sealed in a VCI Fresh Technology (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor) bag to guarantee that your strings arrive as fresh as the day they were made. Dunlop and Zakk Wylde worked together to deliver the Zakk Wylde Icon Series strings These strings were developed to withstand the punishment of the reigning king of metal guitar. Extensive engineering and critical road testing by Zakk himself perfected a string formula to work under the heaviest hands in rock. Zakk Wylde Icon Series strings were designed around Dunlop High Tension technology with a bulked-up core wire.
