DR Pure Blues strings

This is my first time trying Pure Blues bass strings, tho I have used DR for 20 years. I love them. I put them on my new Fender Precision. I prefer the sound of steel strings in general (Lo-Riders) but this is a great sounding nickel string. There was a night and day difference between these and the Fender strings that came with the bass. Although the Fenders were new, I was very unhappy with the bass until I put these Pure Blues on.

These are bright but not harsh, and I had to turn down the bass on my amp. These have good "bottom end", better than many strings I've tried.
