Black Beauty Strings
Didn't quite favor them. Although they look great on my Fender, the sound of them changed the personality of the bass, not what I was used to. Also it's taking some time to get use to the coating that's on them. Sorry.

DR Black Beauties
First time with the Black Beauties on my fretless. Very happy. I love the growl. It makes my bass sound between a electric and a acoustic bass.

DR Black Beauties
When I don't feel like paying over Sixty dollars for Thomastik Infelds, I stick with DR black Beauties. Best bang for your buck!!!!!!!!!!

DR Poly Coated
I have been using DR poly-coated strings for close to 2 years now, on a range of different basses. Great tone and great feel. If you're a finger player, and you sweat, you'll never have trouble gripping the strings.

DR Black Beauties
About to try these the next time I am due a string change. Been using D'addario EXL220 for years. I hope these match up and will hold the brightness since they are coated. I go through strings pretty quick. I want them to stay bright but not tinny.

DR Strings Bass Extra Life? Black Coated, .040-.100
Really like the feel and the sound of these strings. Has the stainless steel sound with a much smother feel. Highly recommended.
