DR. strings

I have been playing a 1929 B&D Special
banjo for many years and have used just about all of the name brand strings, and I have found over the past 4 years that the DR strings consistently out last the others for quality and hold their tone to the extent that would amaze others.I play a hard left hand, thank you and keep up the quality .

DR 5-string banjo strings

Update: I've been through a couple of sets of these strings on my Deering Eagle II banjo. I tried them even though I was happy with what I was using before, but I liked the DR guitar strings so much I tried the banjo strings. My opinion that these are great strings has not changed. Great strings that really last and that allow a great banjo to express its potential.

DR banjo strings

I put a set of these strings on my Deering Eagle II and the strings made an already great banjo better. I have more "ring" to the tone, more sustain when I need it and the tone seems a little richer. These are the strings I plan to use from now on on all my banjos.

I've found the DR strings to sound especially nice and last a longer time than other I've tried.... I really like them...
