@ TBass
These strings are the best I've tried, I know what you mean about strings eating frets, but I think Fender uses cheap fret wire. I have a Carvin and the frets have lasted for years no prob, my Fender not so much. I use Blue Steel exclusively.

Sonic Chewers !
I tryed these on a P-Bass once. I left them on for about a month. They did sound great. Bright, clear, and with lots of boom. The bad thing is they chewed my frets up something aweful ! These are good sounding strings but they are fret eaters ! The Steel Rounds are better for your frets and sound just as good.

Longest Lasting I've tried
I once had a set of these strings on my Pedulla 5 string fretless for 7 years. I played the bass quite a bit, and they really got better with age. Finally, the intonation began to suffer and I had to change them.

Blue Steel Bass Strings
I am a weekend warrior and have played for over 30 years. I have tried many brands over the years and these continue to be the best performing and longest lasting strings I have ever used!
