Made with two types of trebles, clear nylon or rectified nylon, both types have silver plated wound basses. They produce a warm tone that will project well and last a long time – what every excellent, classical string should do.
The sets with clear trebles and silver plated wound basses come in normal and hard tensions in full size sets, and in normal tension for two student size (1/2 and ¾) sets. Also available are sets with rectified nylon trebles all with the same silver plated wound basses. Rectified nylon strings are precision made with D’Addario’s state of the art grinding machinery that ensures an exact diameter the entire length of the string with a slightly textured surface.
