I actually bought a dozen of these to try as snare drum snares. They are a little stiff for this purpose, but worked quite well. JustStrings service is terrific; i have used them form time to time for years and never had a problem. While I do not play guitar myself, I can say from a quality standpoint, the D'Addario strings are well-made and consistent. I do frequently use their Evans drumheads and have NEVER been disappointed. Overall, these are products and providers with which one can have confidence.
