Black fingers
September 9, 2021
I usually play on a Ken Smith bsrp 5-string that my wife had made for me special. He makes his own strings and they never turn your fingers black or hardly ever get out of tune. My experience buying my first Ibanez was for some reason they like to put the cheap dario xl's that turn your fingers black and every bass player I've talked to have said the same thing. I had a fellow bass player at Guitar Center tell me to go with nyxl's and that they do not turn your fingers black and that is the truth. Those are an excellent set of strings that hold their tone and they do not turn my fingers black. Good job on those strings D'Addario.
Hold their tone in chain easily.
None so far.
