D'Addario 60 nylon guitar string
November 14, 2019
The D'Addario 60 ga. nylon works perfectly for my 7 string classical guitars. I use the low
A tuning for my 7th string, and the D'A stings works very well. It has a very balanced tension
and the intonation is spot on, and it holds tuning well. If you are looking for a low A that would
be the string I would use. For a higher tuning as a B or C I would go with a lighter gauge, but
for the low A (the George Van Eps tuning) the 60 ga. would be hard to beat.

The D'Addario 60ga. nylon has a long life.
The tone is full and round as one would
expect, and the feel is what one would
want.
The only con I can think of is that
locals stores usually don't carry
this string for the obvious reason
is that few people use them, but
the good news is that Juststrings.com
carries all the common strings as well
as the ones not so common!
